One of the most popular houseplants, perhaps because they are easy to care for, thrives in less than perfect conditions, grows quickly into a lush beautiful plant, will tolerate low, medium or bright light light and is known for it's air purification qualities. Spider plants are also called airplane plants and puts out many rosettes or pups on long stems which makes for quite and interesting plant. These rosettes are easily propagated. This is one of those houseplants that is as muched loved now as it was generations ago and has withstood the test of time.
